Beidler Forest contains the world's largest virgin stand of baldcypress-tupelo swamp forest. Thousands of years old, this sanctuary protects 17,000 acres of meandering blackwater streams, dense forest and over 300 wildlife species. Its heart, the 1800-acre grove of ancient trees, where a 1-mile boardwalk allows observation of wildlife and plants.
